Gareth Porter on Trump's Consolidation of a Whole New War Cabinet, and the Danger It Poses

War cabinet.jpg

Last week, Trump appointed John Bolton as the National Security Adviser, and nominated Mike Pompeo as Secretary of State and torturer Gina Haspel as head of the CIA. Many commentators have referred to the people around Trump as his "war cabinet."

We'll speak to Gareth Porter about all this. Gareth Porter is an investigative historian and journalist on the national security state and author of Manufactured Crisis: The Untold Story of the Iran Nuclear Scare.
