Climate Change: What's happening now, What's going to happen, and What we need to do

March for Science, San Diego

March for Science, San Diego

Following the historic March for Science, the People's Climate March took to the streets in locations all over the US on Saturday, April 29. We hear from Astrid Caldas, a climate scientist with the Climate & Energy program at the Union of Concerned Scientists. She'll be talking abut the impacts that climate change is already having, the impacts that are coming soon, and what people need to do for humanity and the planet.

The dehumanization, attacks and repression against immigrants

Rita Dentino, Executive Director, Casa Freehold of National Day Laborer Organizing Network joins us to talk about the Nazi atmosphere and repression against undocumented immigrants. The Trump/Pence regime is ratcheting up terror, detention, and deportation directed at 11 million people within the borders of the U.S., and is creating a climate of demonization and marginalization for all immigrants, and for Muslims in general.

Bob Avakian, "Why Do People Come Here From All Over The World? "

We'll hear "Why do people come here from all over the world?" by Bob Avakian, Chairman of the Revolutionary Communist Party. Bob Avakian lays bare the reasons people come to the US from all over the world, the nature of the system that drives them here, and what happens to them once they get here,

This is an excerpt from "Revolution, Why It's Necessary, Why It's Possible and What It's all About," the film of a talk given in 2003. For more excerpts, go to the Revolution Talk Youtube Channel.
