Interview with the Siblings of Johnny Anderson, Murdered By Police In Hawaiian Gardens on July 5

Johnny Anderson was relaxing with his wife in the backyard of a vacant house in Hawaiian Gardens, California, on July 5 when he saw LA County Sheriffs approaching.

Johnny's name was on a gang injunction, which criminalizes many normal activities like riding a bicycle, or hanging out with friends. He walked away from the cops.

They chased him and murdered him in cold blood, shooting him in the chest.

Johnny Anderson was known for his "big Colgate smile," and being ready to help anyone. A week after his murder, hundreds protested in Hawaiian Gardens.
